FFM (FreeFlashMenu) exists to find all that Free Flash stuff out there. This is specific now to menu's but later on will also be for other free flash stuff. Anyway, one day I was searching the web for some flash navigation for my website. And what I found was JUNK! I wished there was a site out there that just went right through the junk and suggested some menus. I never knew this was such a big market, but as you will see on this page, there are a lot of Free Flash Menus on the web.

Now the purpose is to find a flash menu that does not require Macromedia Flash. Becuase this menu I want the dynamics and coolness of flash but I do not have flash or know how to use it. Thus I want a menu that can incorporate into Dreamweaver or FrontPage.

Some menus are free, some have free trials. These are the menu's that are free. Unfortunate, there are no pheno,imal free menus.

Looks:

By far the most important category. Simply becuase, if you want a flash menu, you want flash becuase it looks the best. So make sure this rating is high!

Versatility:

Some of the flash menus have the ability to be changed. Most of the menus are just one button with no colors that can be chaged and stuff like that. Versatility includes option on how I can edit and change the menu.

Ease of Use:

How easy is the menu to be installed? How easily can I edit the menu? These are all important questions. The higher it is... the easier it is to install and edit. The lower.. well it can be tough.

Features:

Features is an important category. It is similar to versatility but focuses mostly on how the acual menu functions. For example, if a menu has no submenus ons limits you in word length and size, then it has no features (1). While a menu who has all of that would rank much higher.

Need Flash:

Does the menu need Macromedia Flash to operate. This is important. This site is created for people who cannot use flash or just can't use it well. Thus, most of these menus can just be added to any page within your website. But some require flash.

Full Version Price:

Although this site is called FreeFlashMenu.com there comes a point where when you want a great menu you have to pay for it. But there are some ugly menus for a high price. So, look for the higher ratings and the lowest price. That is the good deal.
